Before installing BuddyPress, please make sure that you’ve checked the minimum server requirements and WordPress version compatibility.

1. Download and install WordPress.
2. Head to your “Plugins → Add New” menu in wp-admin. Search and install ‘BuddyPress’.
3. Make sure you have pretty permalinks enabled on your WordPress install.
4. Activate BuddyPress. You will be redirected to the BuddyPress Welcome screen.

Manual Installation # Manual Installation

1. Download BuddyPress.
2. Upload the plugin to the wp-content/plugins folder in your WordPress directory online using your favorite FTP program.
3. Make sure you have pretty permalinks enabled on your WordPress install.
4. Go to your admin dashboard → Plugins → Installed Plugins
5. Activate BuddyPress. You will be redirected to the BuddyPress Welcome screen.
